Frequently asked questions
Can a car really be diagnosed remotely?
Not every one. That's why every submission goes through a free triage — if a case isn't suitable for remote work, I'll say so plainly before you spend anything. The vast majority of electrical and electronic faults, however, can be handled remotely, because you perform the measurements on site and I interpret them and set the next steps.
How much does it cost?
A one-off diagnostic consultation is 99 PLN; a fully guided diagnostic process is 249 PLN (or +150 PLN if you upgrade from an earlier consultation). See the Pricing page. The initial review of a submission is always free.
What data should I prepare?
The more the better: fault codes (ideally complete, with statuses), symptoms and the circumstances they appear in, tests done so far and parts replaced, live data, measurement results, photos and recordings. The submission form walks you through all of it.
What if the cause can't be found?
In the guided process we work until the problem is resolved or remote diagnostics is exhausted. In the latter case you receive a summary: what has been ruled out, what is most probable, and what to check next — still real value, because it narrows the search.
How fast will I get an answer?
I quote the timeline individually with the price, before payment. It depends on case complexity and current workload.
Is my data and my customer's data safe?
Yes. Personal data and diagnostic materials are processed in line with GDPR, used solely to handle the case, and never shared with third parties.
Can I come back to a closed case?
Yes — a case can be reopened within 30 days of closure, e.g. if the symptom returns after the repair. After that a new submission is needed.
Do you work with individual car owners?
The service is aimed at repair shops and mobile mechanics, because effective remote diagnostics requires tools and the ability to take measurements. If you own the car — best pass the contact on to your mechanic.
